Succor to the Sidhe is a repeatable quest chain that augments one of 20
job-specific Fay-line weapons. You pick the zone, fight a Pixie NM in that zone,
and come back to receive a random augment roll from that zone's pool. Good way to
squeeze extra stats out of a second- or third-tier weapon before you commit to a
REMA.
How to start
- Obtain a base Fay-line weapon. These are the Fay, Erlking,
Dweomer, and Ogre weapons from the original WotG Campaign / Allied Notes
shops and retail quests. 20 exist, one per job — Oberon's Rapier (RDM),
Erlking's Sword (PLD), Rindomaru (SAM), Dweomer Maul (WHM), Fay Lance (DRG),
and so on. Check the full list with

- Travel to Grauberg [S]. Warp to the closest outpost and
head to
Callisto · Grauberg [S] (-102, 538)
near the reive area.
- Trade your weapon. Callisto accepts any of the 20 eligible
Fay-line weapons. She returns the quest dialogue and points you to a
Shadowreign zone.
- Hunt the Pixie NM. Each Shadowreign zone has one Pixie NM
for this quest. Kill it (they're overworld spawns, not instanced). The zone
determines which augment pool you roll from.
- Return to Callisto. She offers your weapon back with up to
two random augments from that zone's pool (rolled from STR, DEX, Accuracy,
Attack, Store TP, Double Attack, WSD, MAB, Cure Potency, etc.).
- Accept or reroll. You can refuse the offered augments and
repeat the run. Five reroll attempts total per weapon, then your result
locks in.
The Details
- 20 eligible weapons — one per job. Each is a mid-tier weapon
good enough for extended use once augmented. See Callisto's dialogue for the
full job-to-weapon list.
- 14 Shadowreign zones — each has a unique augment pool. Different
zones favour different stats, so your weapon choice dictates which zone you
should farm. (WotG-era zones, marked [S].)
- Random augments — 1 or 2 augments rolled per reroll, with values
in defined ranges. Best-case rolls can be weapon-defining.
- 5 total attempts per weapon — reroll up to 5 times before your
augments are final. Plan the roll pool before you commit.
- Solo-friendly — most Pixie NMs can be soloed with Trusts on a
99 job. This is a good "between hunts" activity.
