Who is D. Shantotto?

D. Shantotto — the "D" stands for "Dark" — is an alternate-dimension version of the legendary Shantotto from Windurst. While the original Shantotto is already terrifying enough as one of the most powerful mages in Vana'diel, this dark counterpart dials everything up to eleven. She wields a scythe and combines black magic nukes with dark knight melee combat, creating a chaotic and unpredictable fighting style. She is, in her own words, magnificent.

When to Use D. Shantotto

D. Shantotto is the trust you pick when you want chaos in the best way possible. She is unpredictable — sometimes meleeing, sometimes nuking — but her combined physical and magical damage output can be surprisingly strong. She is not the most efficient or reliable DD, but she is fun to watch and covers both physical and magical damage in one trust slot. Use her when you want a hybrid damage dealer or just want to see things explode. She works well in parties that already have their core roles covered and want an extra wild card.
