Who is Darrcuiln?

Darrcuiln is a shapeshifter from the Seekers of Adoulin expansion who fights in a permanent beast form. Unlike normal humanoid Trusts, he takes the shape of a ferocious creature in combat. His wild nature means he plays by different rules than most party members.

Key Abilities

• Beast Form — Darrcuiln fights as a monster rather than a humanoid. This gives him unique attack animations and abilities that other Trusts do not have.
• Immune to Most Buffs — Because he is in beast form, most standard party buffs (like Haste, Protect, Shell) do not work on him. He cannot benefit from your support spells or most other Trusts' buffs.
• Natural Attacks — He uses claw and bite attacks with high damage potential. His raw physical power is his main contribution to the party.
• Self-Sufficient — Since he cannot receive most buffs anyway, he does not need support. He just attacks and deals damage on his own terms.

When to Use Darrcuiln

Darrcuiln is a niche pick. His buff immunity means he does not benefit from Bard songs, Geomancy, or other party-wide enhancements that make normal melee Trusts stronger. Use him when you want a self-sufficient damage dealer who does not need any support, or when you find his unique beast form appealing. For most situations, a standard melee DD Trust will get more benefit from party buffs.
