Who is Ferreous Coffin?

Ferreous Coffin is a mysterious Galka from the Chains of Promathia storyline. He is connected to the Tavnazian Safehold and the events surrounding the ancient conflict with Promathia. His name is as imposing as his presence. As a Paladin, he is technically a tank job, but his trust version leans heavily into the healing side of Paladin rather than the tanking side.

When to Use Ferreous Coffin

Ferreous Coffin is not your first choice as a healer. His Paladin job means his healing output is lower than a true White Mage or Scholar, and his MP pool is smaller. However, he has one thing going for him: Raise. If you need a backup healer who can revive and you do not have access to better options yet, he can fill the role.

Think of him as an emergency option. If your main healer trust is not available for some reason, or you want a second source of Raise in your party as insurance, Ferreous Coffin can serve that purpose. He is available in Set 3, which is mid-range in cost.

For actual difficult content, always bring a real healer like Nashmeira II or Cid instead. Ferreous Coffin simply cannot keep up with the healing demands of tough fights.
