Starter Healer — White Mage
Karaha-Baruha is one of the most important figures in Windurst's history -- he was the greatest summoner the Federation of Windurst ever produced. In the game's lore, he sacrificed himself to protect Windurst during the Crystal War. Despite being famous as a summoner, his trust version functions as a White Mage, focusing on healing magic rather than summoning avatars.

Trade Trust Stones / Gems / Jewels plus the quest item at the upgrade NPC to progress this trust through tiers. Rows show the active bonuses after lower-tier bonuses are included.

Karaha-Baruha is your first healer. He is available in Set 1 from the Login Points vendor, making him one of the cheapest trusts to acquire. For new players working through early content, he does the job perfectly well -- he keeps the party alive with Cure spells and provides basic defensive buffs.
His Bar-element spells are a nice bonus that other early healers do not offer. If you are fighting enemies that use a lot of elemental magic (like bomb-type monsters that spam fire), he can noticeably reduce the damage your party takes.
Once you have enough Login Points to purchase Set 5, you should upgrade to Nashmeira II for harder content. Nashmeira II has stronger heals, Raise (to revive you if you fall), and Afflatus Solace. Karaha-Baruha is a solid stepping stone, but he lacks Raise and his healing output falls behind at higher levels.
