Who is Koru-Moru?
Koru-Moru is a Tarutaru minister from the Federation of Windurst. Despite his small stature, he is one of the most respected political figures in the nation. As a trust, he is widely considered the single best support character in the entire game, and for good reason.

Key Abilities
- Haste — Makes you attack roughly 15% faster. This is one of the most important buffs in the game. Faster attacks mean more damage, more skillchain opportunities, and faster TP gain. Koru-Moru will cast this on your party members automatically.
- Refresh — Slowly restores your MP (magic points) over time. If you play a mage job like White Mage, Black Mage, or Red Mage, this lets you keep casting spells without running dry. Think of it as a slow but steady MP battery.
- Protect — Increases your physical defense. When enemies hit you with swords, claws, or other physical attacks, you take less damage. A simple but essential defensive buff.
- Shell — Increases your magic defense. When enemies cast spells on you, you take less damage and are more likely to resist harmful effects. The magic counterpart to Protect.
- Dispel — Strips a beneficial buff from an enemy. Many monsters cast spells on themselves to become stronger, faster, or harder to hit. Dispel removes one of those buffs, bringing the enemy back to normal. This is critical against tough enemies that buff themselves.
When to Use Koru-Moru
Always. Koru-Moru is the number one support trust recommendation for virtually every situation. His combination of Haste (more damage through faster attacks), Refresh (MP sustain for your mages), Protect/Shell (survivability), and Dispel (enemy debuffing) covers all the support bases in a single trust slot. If you only remember one trust name from this entire guide, make it Koru-Moru. He pairs well with any healer like Apururu or Yoran-Oran, and any tank or damage dealer. Bring him to everything.
