Who is Kukki-Chebukki?

Kukki-Chebukki is one of the three Chebukki triplets, a trio of mischievous Tarutaru siblings from Windurst. Each triplet specializes in a different combat style. Kukki is the magic-focused sibling, taking up the Black Mage mantle to blast enemies with elemental spells. The triplets are beloved for their playful personalities.

Key Abilities

Elemental Nukes — Kukki casts destructive elemental spells like any Black Mage. Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, and their higher tiers are her tools of the trade.
AoE Spells — She can cast area-of-effect spells that damage multiple enemies at once, useful when fighting groups of monsters.
Magic Burst — She follows up skillchains with matching elemental spells for boosted damage, just like other Black Mage Trusts.
Chebukki Synergy — Summoning all three Chebukki triplets (Kukki, Makki, and Cherukiki) together is a fun thematic choice, though not necessarily the most powerful party composition.

When to Use Kukki-Chebukki

Kukki-Chebukki is a serviceable Black Mage Trust. She is not as powerful as Shantotto II, but she gets the job done as a nuker. She is a good choice if you want to summon the full Chebukki triplet team for fun, or if you need a BLM from Set 4 specifically. For raw magical damage output, Shantotto II is the stronger pick, but Kukki is a perfectly fine alternative.
