Who is Lion?

Lion is the shadowy Mithran tracker and one of the main heroines of the Rise of the Zilart storyline. A skilled operative who works for the Tenshodo underground guild, she is resourceful, independent, and fiercely protective of Vana'diel. Her real identity and connections run deeper than most realize, making her one of the most important characters in FFXI's original story.

Key Abilities

• Grapeshot — a weapon skill that can stun the target, briefly interrupting whatever the enemy was doing. Stun effects are very useful for stopping dangerous enemy attacks.
• Evasion — Lion has high evasion, meaning enemies miss her more often than they would miss a heavily-armored trust. This helps her survive without needing as much healing.

When to Use Lion

Lion is a decent early-game melee DD with some utility from her stun weapon skill. She is more survivable than pure damage trusts thanks to her evasion. However, her upgraded version Lion II is strictly better, so switch once you have it. Use Lion when you want a melee trust that can take care of herself and occasionally interrupt enemies.
