Margret is an Elvaan from San d'Oria who blends Ranger archery with Thief cunning. Her THF sub job gives her access to agility-based abilities and the potential for skillchain closing from range. She is a sharp-eyed hunter who picks off enemies from afar with precision shots.

Key Abilities

• Ranged Attacks — Margret fires from distance, keeping herself safe from melee-range threats while dealing consistent damage.
• Skillchain Closing — She can time her ranged weapon skills to close skillchains started by melee Trusts. Skillchains are combo attacks that deal bonus damage when weapon skills connect in the right order.
• Sneak Attack — From her THF sub job, she can position herself behind the target for bonus damage on her next attack. This is tricky to use at range but can result in big hits.
• Evasion — Thief traits give her better evasion than a standard Ranger. If an enemy does come after her, she has a better chance of dodging attacks.

When to Use Margret

Margret is a good choice when you want a ranged damage dealer who can participate in skillchains. Her ability to close skillchains from range means your melee Trusts can start them and Margret can finish, triggering bonus damage and opening windows for magic bursts. She is a more tactical pick than a pure Ranger, rewarding parties that make use of the skillchain system.
