Maximilian is a character from the Seekers of Adoulin expansion. A dual-wielding fighter who combines Thief combat skills with Ninja techniques, he represents the fast-paced melee combat style that thrives on landing many hits quickly rather than one big strike. His fighting style emphasizes speed and precision over raw power.

Key Abilities

• Dual Wield — Maximilian wields two weapons at once, which means he attacks faster than single-weapon fighters. More attacks per second means more damage over time and faster TP gain (TP is the resource you spend on weapon skills).
• High attack speed — between his dual wield and Thief traits, Maximilian swings very frequently. This makes him a consistent damage dealer rather than a bursty one.
• Ninja sub job — gives access to Utsusemi (shadow images) for some added survivability, and dual wield capability from the Ninja job's traits.

When to Use Maximilian

Maximilian excels when you want sustained melee damage with fast attack speed. His dual-wielding style generates TP quickly, leading to frequent weapon skills. He is a solid pick for general content where you want reliable, consistent damage output without needing to worry about positioning (unlike Sneak Attack-focused thieves).
