Who is Mayakov?

Mayakov is a flamboyant Hume dancer encountered during the Seekers of Adoulin storyline. Unlike most Dancers who lean toward support, Mayakov is built for offense. His aggressive fighting style and showmanship make him a surprisingly potent damage dealer.

Key Abilities

• Saber Dance — A stance that increases his attack power and critical hit rate while reducing healing effectiveness. This shows his offensive focus: all damage, minimal support.
• Feather Step — A special step that increases the chance of landing critical hits on the target. This debuff stacks and benefits everyone in the party who attacks that enemy.
• Drain Samba — Adds an HP-drain effect to melee attacks. Each hit steals a small amount of HP from the enemy, keeping Mayakov healthy without needing a healer.
• Weapon Skills — Mayakov uses Dancer weapon skills with daggers, dealing fast bursts of damage when his TP gauge fills.

When to Use Mayakov

Mayakov is the Dancer you pick when you want damage, not healing. His Saber Dance and Feather Step combination makes him hit harder and crit more often than support-oriented Dancers. Like all Dancers, he can sustain himself with Drain Samba, but his priority is always offense. Use him when you have healing covered and just want another body dealing damage.
