Who is Monberaux?

Monberaux is the resident doctor of Upper Jeuno, a Hume physician who runs a clinic and treats adventurers and citizens alike. He is a well-known NPC that many players interact with during quests, and he brings his medical expertise to the battlefield as a trust. Instead of traditional magic, he uses alchemical mixtures to support the party.

Key Abilities

• Mix (Alchemical Support) — Monberaux uses a unique "Mix" ability to combine alchemical ingredients into various support effects. These can include healing, status removal (curing poison, paralysis, and other debuffs), and other utility effects. Mix is not found on any other trust, making Monberaux one-of-a-kind in terms of his ability set.
• Status Removal — One of Monberaux's most useful traits is his ability to remove harmful status effects from party members. If an enemy poisons you, paralyzes you, or blinds you, Monberaux can use his mixtures to cleanse those debuffs. This is similar to what a White Mage does with spells like Poisona or Paralyna, but done through alchemy instead.

When to Use Monberaux

Monberaux is a niche pick. His Mix abilities are unique and fun, but they do not provide the same level of consistent, powerful support that Koru-Moru's Haste/Refresh or Qultada's Corsair rolls deliver. He is best thought of as a novelty trust for players who want something different, or for specific situations where status removal is valuable and your healer trust is too busy keeping people alive to cleanse debuffs. He is not essential, but he is an interesting addition to your trust collection.
