Who is Moogle?

Moogles are the adorable, pom-pom-topped creatures that serve as helpers throughout Vana'diel. They manage your Mog House (your personal home), deliver your mail, and generally keep the world running behind the scenes. This particular Moogle joins you as a trust to provide passive magical support using Geomancer abilities.

Key Abilities

• Refresh Aura (MP Recovery) — Moogle projects an aura that continuously restores a small amount of MP (Magic Points, the resource you spend to cast spells) to all nearby allies. This works passively, meaning you just need to stand near the Moogle and your MP will slowly recover over time. For mage jobs like White Mage, Black Mage, Red Mage, and Scholar, MP is your lifeblood. Running out of MP means you cannot heal, nuke, or buff. Moogle's aura helps prevent that by providing a constant trickle of MP recovery.

When to Use Moogle

Moogle is essential for mage-heavy parties where MP consumption is high. If you play a healer, you will burn through MP quickly casting Cure spells. If you play a nuker, you will burn through MP casting damage spells. Moogle's Refresh aura helps offset that drain. For the best passive sustain setup, pair Moogle with Sakura: Moogle recovers your MP while Sakura recovers your HP, giving your party both resources regenerating automatically without any healer needing to spend MP on it. Moogle also stacks well with Koru-Moru's Refresh spell for even faster MP recovery.
