Curilla scales dramatically with tier upgrades — from a starter tank into a high-tier PLD with full defensive JA rotation and doubled cure potency.

Curilla is your go-to early-game tank, and with upgrades she scales up nicely into mid-game content. Her self-cure and MP pool let her survive longer than pure tanks when healer support is thin. Tier III gives her the full defensive JA rotation (Sentinel + Palisade + Rampart + Shield Bash) that makes her one of the stronger non-August tank options.
If you're willing to grind out Login Points, August outclasses her for pure damage soaking — but August costs 100 pts in Set 5, while Curilla is accessible much earlier via nation quests.
