Who is Shantotto?

Professor Shantotto is the most famous Tarutaru in all of Vana'diel and a former minister of the Orastery in Windurst. Despite her diminutive stature, she is widely regarded as one of the most powerful mages alive, with a personality and laugh to match. Her infamous "Ohohoho!" is recognized across every nation.

Key Abilities

Ancient Magic — casts high-tier elemental nukes for heavy burst damage
Elemental Magic — uses a variety of elemental spells matched to enemy weakness
Manafont — eliminates MP cost for spells temporarily, allowing a devastating nuke barrage

When to Use Shantotto

Shantotto is one of the first trusts most players obtain and remains a solid nuker throughout early and mid-game content. She works well in any party that needs magic damage, especially against enemies weak to elemental magic. Note that an upgraded version, Shantotto II, is available from Login Points and deals significantly more damage at higher levels.
